The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IsO represented on that committee. International organizations, governmenta! and non-governmental, in liaison with IsO, also take part in the work. IsO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote. International Standard ISO 9329-3 was prepared by Technical Committee iSO/TC17.Steel,SubcommitteeSC19,Technicaldeliveryconditionsfor steel tubes for pressure purposes. It cancels and replaces IS0 2604-2:1975, of which it constitutes a techni- cal revision, together with parts 1, 2 and 4 of 1sO 9329. IsO 9329 consists of the following parts, under the general title Seamless steel tubes for pressure purposes -.. -Technicaldelivery conditions: -Part1:Unalloyed steels withspecifiedroomtemperatureproperties - Part 2: Unalloyed and alloyed steels with specified elevated tem- perature properties Part 3: Unalloyed and alloyed steels with specified low temperature properties Part 4: Austenitic stainlesssteels(Partial revisionof OS/ 2604-2:1975) ini license from IHS Not for Resale
